They told him "No. They're all numbered!". So he waited for a while and fished one out of the river when they weren't looking!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2388784807245003537.post-4010283829831063372007-09-06T13:16:00.000+01:002007-09-06T13:16:00.000+01:00Never mind the charity, Brian, this was a serious ...Never mind the charity, Brian, this was a serious race! But as you say, the charity is what's important anyway. But still, would have been fun for some banter back and forth between the blogs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2388784807245003537.post-45567044240051224472007-09-06T11:56:00.000+01:002007-09-06T11:56:00.000+01:00Yep - I was dissappointed as well. I guess counting 165,000 ducks was too much to ask.Chopperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10288482906642697324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2388784807245003537.post-82700663151091614962007-09-06T11:05:00.000+01:002007-09-06T11:05:00.000+01:00there's something fishy about this. We early adopters (mine and Hades were 6037 and 6038) were clearly not at the races: only one duck (80something) from the earlier numbers was placed. Which suggests we were at the bottom of the container and released last or something. I feel let down.

RichAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2388784807245003537.post-7017824903985395402007-09-06T11:00:00.000+01:002007-09-06T11:00:00.000+01:00how do you know where yours finished, Chopper?Rich...how do you know where yours finished, Chopper?

RichAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
